THE BLACK CAT | 3D CINEMA BUILDING
The Black Cat tells the story of a young couple living in a villa in the American suburbs during the 1970s. The house is a Saltbox-style residence originally from the 16th century, inherited from the husband’s family – a wealthy lineage that spans generations. Inside this historic house, the wife has introduced a strong touch of 1970s retro style into the interior design.

The setting in a film is never just a background for the characters. It is a character itself – and often an extremely important one. The history, the era, the tastes, and the personality of a character are all reflected in the house they live in.
From this starting point, Hoang Dang Quang (Our director) began to set several design questions for the house:
– How can two architectural eras be combined within one structure?
– How can the personalities of both the husband and the wife be visible in the interior?
– Most importantly, what kind of feeling should this house leave with the audience?
